American Sports Car / Stinger Fiberglass Design reserves the right to choose an alternative shipping company other than the one quoted, if needed. Shipping to a business is preferred. The freight companies charge an additional $55 more to deliver to a residential address. The shipping address must be zoned commercial in order to receive the business discount. In most cases, home based businesses do not qualify. Call for further information. We have negotiated discounted rates with the shipping companies which we pass along to our customers. Tracking information will be sent once your order has shipped. Shipping times vary so being able to track your purchase will ensure you know exactly where it is and when you will receive it.

Note: At times freight companies assess additional fees at the time of delivery based on various factors, for example: the property is a residential address, apartment, farm, there is limited access to the property, or if the shipping company is unable to deliver during normal business hours. If a fee is assessed due to no fault of ours, you will be obligated to pay the additional fee or fees.

Boxing Fees: $30.00 will be assessed for items shipped truck freight.  Large orders requiring multiple boxes will be charged $30 per box or a crate fee.

Oversized Ground Package shipping will not be assessed the Boxing Fee.


Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Parts

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. Therefore, it is extremely important, before signing for the delivery, you inspect the package and merchandise for any damages, defects, or errors in shipping. If your product(s) arrives defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact us immediately at (321) 268-1118. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! Please review the process of inspection and return for each shipment method below.
Fiberglass Parts may arrive with scratches, dings, small dents, and other minor imperfections which are considered normal characteristics due to the nature of the product. These imperfections will be easily corrected during the filling, priming, and sanding phase of installation. Stinger Fiberglass or its subsidiaries does not consider dings, scratches, minor dents, or other imperfections on fiberglass to be defects in the part nor are they considered damage. All fiberglass parts require some sort of preparation and manipulation during installation. Stinger Fiberglass properly inspects all shipments before leaving our facility. Stinger Fiberglass always recommends professional installation of our products. Buyer assumes risk of damage caused by improper installation.
Stinger Fiberglass or affiliates thereof, are not responsible for errors in ordering made by the customer. Please review all information to make sure you have ordered the appropriate item for your year, make and model of vehicle.

When a replacement part is requested to be shipped prior to the return of original merchandise, we must temporarily authorize your credit card until the original merchandise is returned.

IMPORTANT: Oversized Freight Delivery Requires Inspection upon Delivery (Tractor Trailer Shipments Only)

In most cases parts such as body kits, hoods, bumpers etc. are too large to be shipped with a standard parcel carrier and must be shipped by freight truck. Freight deliveries require inspection upon delivery before signing the delivery bill. When the shipment arrives, please be sure to thoroughly inspect the box and its contents for any major damage to the parts. You must unpack the order and remove each item from the box to check for concealed damage. If you do find damage to any of the items, please physically write “Damaged” on the delivery bill. We will ask for digital pictures to verify that damage has occurred as it will be needed for processing the claim. You will then refuse the shipment and notify us immediately. If damage has occurred, we will file a damage claim with the freight company and ship your new parts.

**Please note that if a product is damaged in transit and it was not inspected at delivery and not noted on the delivery bill, we will be unable to assist you. Once the customer signs the bill of laden the shipping company will not allow us to submit a claim on your behalf. YOUR SIGNATURE IS MORE THEN JUST ACCEPTING THE SHIPMENT; IT IS ALSO A RELEASE OF LIABILITY TOWARDS THE FREIGHT CARRIER OF EVERYTHING.

**For orders shipped to a body shop it is your responsibility to contact them prior to delivery to ensure they inspect it before signing for it. If your body shop signs for the package without inspecting its contents for any damage, we will not be able to file a claim for you with the shipping company.

IMPORTANT: Parcel Inspection

Some items such as fenders, side skirts, small spoilers and more may be shipped with a parcel delivery service such as UPS, FedEx, DHL and more. If you have received a parcel delivery and find concealed damage upon opening and inspecting the product, please contact us and provide us with pictures of any damages. Then contact us and if damage has occurred, we will contact the shipping company and initiate a claim.

Refused or Errors in Shipments

If any shipment is refused there will be a 15% handling charge in addition to the freight charges both ways added to your account. No further shipments will be released until account is paid in full.

Any claims for errors in shipping due to shipper error must be filed with Stinger Fiberglass Designs, Inc. within 24 hours of receipt of goods.Refused, Returned or Errors in Shipments

Orders Outside the 48 States

Must be paid in full in U.S. funds. Freight charges are also paid in advance due to varying sizes and weights required by the freight carriers. With some shipments, we are able to collect taxes, duties and border crossing fee’s so its ships from our door to yours with less trouble. Online orders are not able to calculate international shipping amounts.  This will be done after the order is submitted and a second invoice will be sent to collect these charges.
Unfortunately, we are not able to ship freight items to all countries.  A freight forwarding company located in the United States may be required.  


If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery of your order. The following rules apply:
• Products must be in original packaging and in a new and resalable condition.
• A copy of the invoice and a letter of reason for return must accompany the return.
• Any product that was used, modified in any way, or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
• Shipping Fees are non-refundable.
• Please note: If the return of an item was caused by an error on our part, shipping fees do not apply
• Special order items cannot be returned.
• We do not provide return shipping service on oversized freight deliveries (freight truck shipments).
• Return packages must be sent shipping charges prepaid. COD packages will not be accepted. It is recommended that all returns be insured and shipped with a carrier providing a method of tracking in the event the shipment is lost or damaged.
• No returns after 30 Days, exchanges or merchandise credit only.
• Stinger Fiberglass will not be responsible for damages incurred on returns due to insufficient packaging. If damage is incurred on the return, the sender will not receive the refund or merchandise credit until all shipping claims have been satisfied. The claim will be the responsibility of the sender.

Restocking Fees

• Any returned merchandise is charged a 15% restocking fee.
• Any shipment that is refused without notifying Stinger Fiberglass Designs / American Sports Car will be assessed and additional 15% handling charge. No further shipments will be released until account is paid in full.

Order Cancellations

When you request a cancellation of an order, please note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation. Any item that has already been processed and shipped cannot be stopped and will have to be returned once delivered. Any customer cancellation for an item already in transit will be responsible for shipping costs to and from.
